The Society maintains five museums all located in Winchester, Virginia – Abram’s Delight, George Washington’s Office, and Stonewall Jackson’s Headquarters, an 18th Century Valley Cabin and the Hollingsworth Mill.

Our online store has a great selection of publications about the history of Winchester, Frederick County and the Shenandoah Valley, we also have gifts and memberships available to purchase for friends and relatives.

Stonewall Jackson’s Headquarters Museum is now open for visitation weekends in November.

The safety of our visitors and staff is of the utmost importance. We are practicing COVID guidelines; face masks and 6 feet social distancing is required! We are limiting our tours to 6 guests at a time. When planning a visit, please check the website for any updates.
